Australian Entertainment Training is working in conjunction with YouthTrain to make learning to DJ accessible to young people across South Australia. Over the coming months we will be running a series of workshops to teach the basics of Djing.

 

Child Safe Environments - Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect
Next course 23rd Nov 2010, 9am - 4.30pm - $70 ($55 con)

YouthTrain under license from the Department for Families and Communities is running this course to provide information about the Children's Protection Act 1993 (SA) and the associated obligations of mandated notifiers. This course is interactive, engaging and easy to understand. It consists of 6 topics: values and attitudes, the discount model, child-safe environments, definitions and indicators, responding to the child and child abuse report line procedures.

YouthTrain can also present a condensed refresher course on request. This training is a must for any one working with children.

On successful completion you will receive:
CHCCHILD1C Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm.

This course can also be run at any time or location for groups of 8 or more.

Learner Drivers Education

STOP and get you L’s  – YouthJET runs an interactive four day course teaching young people about road rules and safety in preparation for them getting their learners drivers licence. This course involves a presentation from the South Australian Police (SAPOL), and concludes with each participant able to sit the Learner Driver Test.

opportunity to learn build Electronics and
Robotics projects. Past project examples
include home alarm, fridge door open alarm, Light Dimmer, Washing machine control, reaction games, light controlled musical instrument, soil moisture level alarm, model train crossing, flashing bike lights etc.
